Violette de Bordeaux Fig Tree

Small- to medium-sized, purple-black fruit with a very deep red strawberry-colored flesh and distinctive sweet, rich flavor. Excellent fresh or dried. Does well in container culture or small spaces. Self-fertile. Our best cropper after winter die-back. Everbearing crop starts in August, goes to frost. Zones 5-10.
