Montmorency Pie Cherry Tree

Montmorency Pie Cherry is the standard by which pie cherries are judged. The medium-sized, sour fruits are a beautiful red color with amber-yellow flesh. They're tart flavor is treasured when cooked into pies and made into jellies and juice. The fruits can also be dried. A favorite among American gardeners for over 100 years, the cold-hardy, 15-20 ft. Montmorency Pie Cherry trees produce dependable yields that ripen in July. They're ornamental, too, bursting into blooms of white flowers in the spring. Self-pollinating. Zones 4-8.
